E-Boiler Goes into Operation

Since 2026, Grolsch has been using an electric boiler (E-boiler) to generate steam, an essential part of the brewing process. The installation enables part of the brewery’s steam supply to be electrified, representing another step towards making the brewery more sustainable.

The E-boiler builds on previous investments in renewable energy and supports Grolsch in its ambition to further decarbonize its brewing operations and direct energy supply, moving towards NET-ZERO.
