Zwolle rapper Sticks and beer brewer Grolsch have joined forces and are proud to present ZWOLSCH: a characterful beer, brewed as an ode to the city of Zwolle. The launch took place last Wednesday evening at clothing store Uppers, a place Sticks likes to visit and which, like himself, stands for creativity and individuality.

 

ZWOLSCH is a special beer that combines the down-to-earth charm of Zwolle with the craftsmanship of Grolsch. The result is a fresh, slightly bitter blonde beer (5.9%) with notes of tropical fruit. The beer has a unique character. Just like the city and Sticks.

 

Together with Grolsch master brewer Marc Janssen, Sticks worked on a beer that suits Zwolle: a product with taste and character. No fuss, just something real: a beer that represents what both creators believe in.

 

The collaboration between Sticks and Grolsch arose from a shared love of local pride, craftsmanship and honest flavours. Both are known for their unique character and for following their own path. Grolsch brought the brewing knowledge and quality; Sticks brought the local feel and creative input. During the private launch at clothing store Uppers, guests tasted the new beer for the first time. The evening was kicked off by Marc Janssen (Grolsch) and Sticks, with music from a local DJ and, of course, the first ZWOLSCH bottles were popped open.

 

ZWOLSCH is available from today at selected catering establishments and off-licences in Zwolle. The edition is limited and available while stocks last.
